Psychomotor therapy and adapted physical activity

Abstract
In 1964, at the Institute of Physical Education of the Catholic University of Leuven a postgraduate specialization course in psychomotor therapy was set up for holders of an M. D. in motor rehabilitation and physiotherapy. Since 1970 it has been open to holders of an M. D. in physical education. This 1-year specialization consists of a number of theoretical lectures and 6 months' practical training (Van Coppenolle 1986).
