Bien etonnés

Hegel and Schopenhauer as partisans of Goethe's theory of colours

Paul F. H. Lauxtermann

pp. 117-134

Abstract

Bien étonnés: quite astounded to find themselves back in each other's company, indeed! The French expression applies, not only, as is obvious, to the pair Hegel/Schopenhauer but, in a sense, to the pair Hegel/Goethe as well.
