Polyscopic study of a basic cultural pattern
pp. 295-316
Abstract
In another paper in this volume [7] the motivation and the main ideas behind polyscopic modeling are explained. In an appendix to [7] some polyscopic modeling techniques rooted in mathematics and informatics are outlined. The present article illustrates applied polyscopic modeling and intuitive polyscopic modeling techniques. Since one of the main objectives of polyscopic modeling is to create high-level information (covering basic issues in non-technical terms) intuitive representation techniques such as ideograms, metaphors and dialogs play a central role.
